Day 1

• Pick up at major hotels in San José.
• Stop for Typical Costa Rican breakfast included at Río Danta Restaurant.
• Departure to Caño Blanco dock in Siquirres.
• Arrival to Caño Blanco dock and board boats for ride to Tortuguero and Mawamba Lodge.
• Arrival to Mawamba Lodge and lunch at the restaurant.
• Enjoy with your guide our local attractions including the butterfly farm, frog farm and garden, aquarium, bio-digestor, and our gardens.
• Free time to enjoy the pool or relax.

Optional night tour to search the turtle nesting (season July–September)

Day 2

• Meet for coffee at the entertainment room.
• Morning boat tour through the Tortuguero Canals.
• Return for breakfast at the lodge.
• Departure by boat to Mawamba’s private property next to National Park, where you will enjoy a hiking trip in the trails.
• Arrival and lunch included at the hotel.
• Afternoon canal boat tour inside the National Park.
• Return to lodge for relaxation.
• Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3

• Breakfast at the lodge.
• Meeting at docks for return boat ride to Caño Blanco in Siquirres.
• Arrival to Caño Blanco. Board bus for return to San José.
• Arrival time for lunch to Río Danta Restaurant.
• Return to San José.
• Drop off at major hotels in San José

NOTES:

• The order and logistics of the itinerary may be altered depending on weather conditions.
• Luggage is limited to 25 lb person on all packages.
• Night tour to search the turtle nesting ($30 USD per person).
