Caribbean Sunrise to Pacific SunsetDay 1Upon arrival you´ll be picked up at the airport and transferred to the Hotel. Day 2Transfer to Tortuguero Canals National Park in the north Caribbean . After driving through the magnificent Braulio Carrillo National Park , we will get to see banana plantations just before we arrive to the dock. Transfer by boat to the Lodge. Afternoon visit to the village and the Caribbean Conservation Corporation Turtles Museum . Transfer to the hotel for overnight. Meals: B, L, D Day 3Early morning tour to the canals where your guide and you of course will try to spot some wildlife (Toucans, monkeys, perhaps crocodiles, etc). Then you will enjoy a delicious breakfast at the hotel. At 9:00 am we will go for a hike to the Tortuguero hill. In the afternoon you will take another tour by boat to a different canal. Meals: B,L,D. Day 407:30 am Breakfast and then transfer to Arenal Volcano. Check in at your hotel. Late afternoon, optional visit to natural Hot springs. Overnight in Arenal. Meals: B,L,D 08:00 am. Breakfast and Canopy Tour. Then hike to the Fortuna waterfall where after a short steep walk you can swim. Afternoon hike at the Lava flow trail in the Arenal Volcano National Park . Meals: B, L,D Day 609:00 am. Transfer to Manuel Antonio National Park area in the central pacific coast. On the way we will stop at the Tárcoles River to spot some 18 feet crocodiles and to take a walk in the national park. Afternoon arrival to the Hotel in Manuel Antonio. Meals: B,L,D. Day 708:00 am Breakfast and then visit to the Manuel Antonio National Park . Here there are 3 beautiful beaches and a rain forest that hosts white faced monkeys, squirrel monkeys, sloths and howler monkeys. Afternoon at leisure. Meals: B,L,D Day 811:00 am: Transfer back to San José . Meals: B,L. Day 9Pick up at your hotel in San José and transfer to airport. What to bring?This is gonna be a warm place with temperatures ranging between 75 ° F in San José, 90 ° F in Manuel Antonio, 75 ° F in Arenal and 85 ° F in Tortuguero, so bring shorts and T shirts, but just in case bring a light jacket for the nights in Arenal. Swimming suit is necessary, hiking shoes or good snickers and an extra pair of shoes, sandals, suntan lotion, insects repelent (this I recommend just in case), flashlight, a rain coat (it is dry season but who knows what could happen), binoculors, camera and good vibrations to enjoy the beauty of this little peaceful country that we are happy to show you. Remember there is a departure tax of $26.00 per person.
