Day 1

Arrive to Costa Rica , spend the night at the b&b

Day 2

Morning: Leave Central Valley for the Península de Nicoya.

Afternoon: Transportation to Samara Beach for an afternoon on the beach

Evening: Meet local families who will host the students during the volunteer aspect of the trip, Construction project.

Day 3

All day: Orientation. Construction volunteer project

Day 4

Morning: Construction volunteer project

Afternoon: Transportation to Carrillo Beach for an afternoon and sunset on the beach

Day 5

All day: Construction volunteer project.

Day 6

Morning: Travel to Flamingo area. Spanish School for placement exam and orientation

Afternoon: Relax on the beach

Evening: Check in at a lodge

Day 7

Morning: Surf classes in Tamarindo beach

Afternoon: Spanish classes. Overnight in Flamingo area

Day 8

Morning: Half day on a sail boat and snorkelling

Afternoon: Spanish classes

Tropical fruit class. Overnight in a lodge

Day 9

Morning: Transportation to Conchal beach

Afternoon: Spanish classes

Latin dance class. Overnight in a Lodge.

Day 10

Morning: Morning at the beach in Playa Grande

Afternoon: Spanish classes

Bonfire night. Overnight in a Lodge.

Day 11

Morning: Spanish classes

Afternoon: Travel to Rincón de la Vieja volcano. Overnight in Rincón.

Day 12

Morning: Mountain biking in the Rincon de la Vieja National Park. Overnight in a hotel.

Afternoon: Relax or hike along trails of Rincon de la Vieja to explore the Mud pots and Bubble Springs.

Day 13

Morning: Travel to Las Heliconias

Afternoon: Hike on the suspension bridges of the Rain Forest and overnight.

Day 14

Morning: Travel to Monteverde.

Afternoon: Sky Trek zip lines. Soccer game with locals. Overnight in Monteverde.

Day 15

Morning: Visit the Santa Elena Cloud Forest Reserve.

Afternoon: Travel from Monteverde to San José .

Day 16

Morning: Leave for Pacuare River

Rafting, spend the night along the river

Day 17

Morning: River Rafting

Afternoon: Transfer to Tortuguero Canals

Day 18

Morning: Canal Tour and hike in Tortuguero National Park

Afternoon: Boat Tour to a different Canal or relax by the pool at the hotel.

Day 19

Morning: Transfer to Guápiles for lunch.

Afternoon: Continue to Arenal and visit the Hot Water Springs. Overnight in Arenal

Day 20

Morning: Hike the lava Flow from 1992 and visit La Fortuna Waterfall

Afternoon: Return to Central Valley .

Evening: Farewell dinner. Spend the night at the b&b
