Tortuguero Canals - 2 Nights 3 Days

Day 1

06:30 am Pick up by your naturalist guide for your transfer to Tortuguero National Park , a natural canal system where you will be surrounded by the most peaceful scenery. As soon as you arrive to Mawamba Lodge you will taste a delicious costarican lunch. Afternoon visit to the village of Tortuguero . Overnight at Mawamba Lodge. Meals,: B,L,D

Day 2

Morning tour to the canals where you will try to spot colorful birds, mammals and reptiles as crocodiles and iguanas. Then you will return to the lodge for breakfast.

09:00 am. Those who want to take a easy hike will be taken to the Tortuguero hill where you will learn about some of the tropical plants and the wildlife that inhabits the park. Return to the lodge to enjoy a delicious lunch and then the beautiful gardens and swimming pool.

07:00 pm. Dinner and overnight at Mawamba Lodge. Meals: B,L,D

Day 3.

Breakfast at the lodge and at 09:00 am. departure back to San José . On the way you will stop at a banana plantation, where your guide will tell you about the history and production of this tropical fruit. Overnight in San José . Meals: B,L.

What to bring?

Jacket, hiking shoes or sneakers, swimming suit, sun block, sunglasses, sandals, insects repellent, camera, binoculars (recommended) and flashlight.
