Palo Verde National Park and Arenal Volcano

Day 1

Our journey starts in the Town of Bagaces and heads down through sugar cain and rice fields a well as the irrigation canals on gravel roads to enter the Palo Verde National Park, abird sanctuary where you will take a short hike up to the Guayacán Lookout point in order to enjoy of the majestic view of the Meanders at Tempisque River. Then you will be taken to Rock River Lodge, facing the Arenal Lake .

Day 2

After breakfast you will be transferred to Tronadora to start your ride along the side of the biggest lake of Costa Rica enjoying the amazing views to the lake and heading to one of the 10 most active volcanoes of the world, Arenal . Optional visit to some hot springs to relax after 2 days of excercise. Overnight in Arenal.

Day 3

After breakfast go for a hike to the majestic Arenal Volcano up to a lava flow from 1992. Return to the hotel for check out and transfer to your next destination.
