Monteverde Cloud Forest, Arenal Volcano - 2 Nights 3 Days

Day 1

Morning pick up at your hotel and transfer to Monteverde. Drive along the panamerican highway to the area of Puntarenas, then you will be taken along a scenic road climbing the pacific slope of the continental divide to arrive to Monteverde. Afternoon, visit the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve for a hike through the woods. Overnight in Monteverde. Meals: L, D.

Day 2

Morning visit to the sky trek, a combination of suspension bridges in the forest and zip lines that will bring your adrenaline up (this is an activity for all ages after 5). After this activity you will be taken to Arenal Volcano (around mountains and the enormous Lake Arenal to arrive to one of the most active volcanoes in the world ). Lunch on the way and afternoon visit to the amazing Tabacón Hot Springs, a place surrounded by gardens, pools and small falls to get a natural massage while you watch the volcano and have tropical drinks. Overnight in Arenal. Meals: B, L, D

Day 3

Morning hike to the Arenal National Park for a close up to the active Volcano. Return to the Hotel to get ready for your transfer to San José or any following destination. Meals: B, L.

What to bring?

Jacket, hiking shoes or sneakers, swimming suit, sandals, camera, binoculars (recommended) and flashlight.
